PowerShares S&P SmallCap Health Care Portfolio (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the index called the S&P SmallCap 600 Capped HealthCare Index (the Underlying Index). The Underlying Index consists of common stocks of the United States healthcare companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the business of providing healthcare-related products and services, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and supplies, and facilities. The Fund seeks to normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Underlying Index. The Fund seeks to invest 25% or more of the value of its total assets in securities of issuers in an industry or group of industries to the extent that the Underlying Index concentrates in an industry or group of industries.
