Its business consists of two distinct global underwriting platforms, AXIS Insurance and AXIS Re. AXIS Capital has two reportable segments: The Insurance segment offers a diverse portfolio of specialty insurance products to a variety of niche markets on a worldwide basis. Its lines of business include property, marine, Accident and Health, professional lines, aviation, terrorism, credit and political risk, liability, and Discontinued Lines Novae.
