First Trust NASDAQ-100 Ex-Technology Sector Index Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of an equity index called the NASDAQ-100 Ex-Tech Sector Index (the Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index contains securities of the NASDAQ-100 Index that are not classified as technology according to the Industry Classification Benchmark classification system, and as a result, is a subset of the NASDAQ-100 Index. The NASDAQ-100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on NASDAQ based on market capitalization.
